We want you to be successful with your family history research. So when you
first make contact with us we'll ask you to provide us with all the information
you know to date about your families; names, dates, locations etc. We'll conduct
some preliminary research to make sure we're going to be able to help you
progress with your family tree. Then we'll provide you with a short, preliminary
report and give you a quote for further research. This preliminary report is
free of charge; at this point there is no obligation on your part to proceed.
After the preliminary research we will give you a firm quote for further
research. You may then indicate if you wish to proceed. This quote will outline
the costs involved including the number of hours of research and any other
additional / external costs such postage, and telephone and the costs of
certificates or transcriptions.
At the conclusion of the research a report will be forwarded to you. The
report will usually include several charts showing your family tree from several
different points of view. The digital (computer) file used to generate the
report will also be forwarded to you for future use.
Research and preparation of report - $30 per hour plus costs for other items such as certificates or other documents plus postage and handling. You are in complete control of the amount of money expended.
Most correspondence is conducted via email thus keeping incidental costs to a
minimum.
Payment made be made via direct bank transfer, cheque or postal order - all in $AU.
